Product Review: Sleek Makeup Face Form & iDivine Eyeshadow Palette

I've been wanting the Face Form palette from Sleek Makeup for a while now, and last week I finally got around to ordering it, together with one of the eyeshadow palettes.

26 bucks (150 NOK) in total for both of the products and shipping - not bad!

The face form palette contains what you need
to look somewhat decent:
a matte brown color for contouring,
a light shimmery color for highlighting
and a blush

Shade 'light'

Before ordering I was curious about how the Sleek Makeup Face Form palette would compare with the e.l.f Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder palette:

Both the blush from the e.l.f Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder palette and the blush from the Sleek Makeup Face Form palette in shade 'Light' has been compared to the iconic Nars' 'Orgasm' blush. I've never had my hands on it IRL, but seeing photos of swatches online, the blush from the e.l.f palette seemingly is the one most comparable.

The blush in the Face Form palette is a more coral with a gold shimmer (finely milled), while the one is in the e.l.f palette is more of a matte rosy color with gold shimmer (chunkier). I think the blush in the Face Form will work especially great in the spring/summer for creating a glowy, dewy look, because of it being almost like a coral blush and golden highlight in one.

Both the highlighting color and the contouring color in the Face Form palette are alright. Nothing to do a cart wheel over, but they will get the job done.

These palettes are especially great for when you are one the run. Mind you, I never touch up my makeup blush/powder/eyeshadow-wise during the day; if your makeup is of good quality, you won't need to touch up!

But a palette like the Face Form from Sleek Makeup is great to have i.e. when you're going straight to work or class after the gym; then all you need to do a full face of makeup is 4 items: a BB cream (I highly recommend Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Skin Perfector B.B. Cream for combination to oily skin), this palette for you contouring, blush and higlight, one good brush for application (like an angled contour brush) and mascara.

All of the shadows in this palette are metallic, except for the matte black shade. Since Sleek Makeup is a UK brand, it's difficult for US consumers to get their hands on their products, mostly because of the shipping being so expensive. I got this palette mostly because I could. *Snigger* It was cheap.

The colors are nice, and the shadows are soft and seemingly pigmented. I don't expect them to stay vibrant all day, and they will probably need a solid base for them not to crease. Will give them a go, though!

Here I've used the second shade
from the top right corner:

Edit: I'm pretty happy with it! It's been quite a few hours, and the color is still vibrant and there's no creasing.
