Yesterday I spent the day at the big annual Thai Food Fair in downtown Oslo.
So much good food and amazing performances!
I'm so proud to be Thai-Norwegian.
Mom went bananas and bought something from all of the food stalls.
Then I became a little star-struck running into Nantaya from Et lite stykke Thailand ("A small piece of Thailand") - a very successful documentary series about Thai women and their Norwegian families, that has been running for two seasons now on Norwegian television. And her husband, Lars Johan, seems to be the most sweetest old fella, completely stealing the charm of the show.

I love this show so much, in every episode there's both something that'll make you laugh out loud and something that'll move you to tears. So well made.
This show has made me even more proud of my mother, realizing the trials and tribulations she's been through living in this Godforsaken country, learning the language, working and going to school.

cute kids and beutiful women :)
